Iron Sun Horses can teach you to train your horse or we can start a horse for you. Either way the owner is an informed part of the process because what good is a trained horse if you don’t know what to do with it when you get it home? $500.00 per month training plus $150.00 per month board (extras such as grain etc. will be added on).

Training includes one lesson for the owner per week. We also offer foal – yearling training for a discounted rate as these animals eat less and can only be worked on the ground.

We are also offering something new coming in 2010 - Medieval Skills Workshops. These one day workshops cover topics from medieval weaponry (sword fighting, archery, sling shots), to the apothecary (plant dyes, medicinal and culinary herbal properties). Dates TBA but let us know if you are interested so we can contact you when workshops are booked.
